Photographer Jeffrey Byrnes, working in collaboration with Aaron Vega of Vega Yoga, has produced a photographic body of work that celebrates Yoga In Unusual Spaces. Aaron and Jeffrey, along with other yoga students, yogis, and contributing photographers Greg Saulmon and Tim Lastowski, have used Holyoke as a backdrop and setting to place an aesthetic emphasis of yoga mixed with urban settings. The image of a yoga pose fused with an urban setting creates a fine balance of the beauty and human form infusing strength mixed with an appealing yet reminiscent quality of Holyoke's historical and once thriving strength as an economical leader in time period.
