Holyoke: A rainy Saturday Night in photos

This week we had some pretty nice days. As the weekend rolled in the weather became a little less than pleasurable. By tonight the rain was really coming down. Here are a few photographs from tonight as I took a drive through the city.

  1. There's some hard won photos in here. The water on the lens give them an antique look. Funny thing. Many of these look like a backdrop wanting for a model, or human form to step in.

  2. In all honesty, I want more photographs with people in them. It is very hard to find the right moments to place a person in the image naturally. If I was to pose someone in the composition it becomes less naturalistic and more constrained in terms of a portrait. Thank you though. I love just getting out there and making images during these conditions. It give the city such a look, feel, mood, and makes for some aesthetically pleasing images.

Holyoke would be ideal for a movie. And not like Gibson's picture.
